Hello,
I have read that depending on how your erase / wipe your phone, the data might not truly be erased. I have recently purchased the Google Nexus 6 (I will transfer all of the necessary data between phones) and THEN I plan to sell my Note 3. Here are the details of my Note 3:
- Model = SM-N900T (T-Mobile)
- Knox = 0x1
- Root = Yes
- Android Version = 4.4.2
- Build Number = KOT49H.N900TUVUENK3
- Kernel Version = 3.4.0-2587359
I don't have a problem selling my phone with Root access and Knox tripped (0x1), but I'm wondering what the best way is to erase / wipe my phone free of all personal data before selling ? I'm open to upgrading it to Lollipop (with or without root) before selling if that makes things easier.
Thanks in advance!
