Bestskinsever and sensation 4G: poor fitting for the screen piece

Has anyone use bestskinsever full body/screen cover on HTC s4g?

I used their skins for on my nexus one and I love the perfect fit on my phone. 9 bucks for full body skin (compared to 30 for invisibleshied) is a really good price.

However, I found fitting issues with their skin for S4G for the screen protector piece. There are sizable gaps on side and top edges when the skin is aligned to bottom right corner of the phone. I tried contacting the customer reps using their website contact form (i can't find direct email link or any phone number for customer support on their website). The rep replied back to me asking if I can show them what's wrong so I took some macro shots with markers to illustrate my findings and sent them with my reply.

You can see the pictures in this web album. http://imgur.com/a/OO13k. I think it's a pretty sizeable gap for that screen piece

So today I finally got another reply today and it make me feel that they just trying to blow off my criticism. Here's the exact quote:

"We have consulted with the design team and they recommend applying the Skin, making sure it is centered. We do allow for a slight gap around all edges, which makes the Skin easier to apply and we do not want any material hanging over any of the edges. The slight gap also allows for the solution to escape as well as providing an area so that you may peel the Skin for removal."

How is it ok to have that much gap for screen protector? Their screen piece on nexus one actually almost touched the side edges when installed properly with probably less than 1mm of noticeable line. It gives a nice coverage for the device but that is not the case for S4G.

As I noticed with my previous skin on nexus one, having that much gap will increase the chance of dirt/lint/dust/oil collecting in it. Combine that with frictions from daily use, the dirt combo will slowly degrade the corner and cause peeling.

Does anyone use this product on sensation 4g and having a different experience?

I'm using the BSE screen protector and, for me it covers 99% of it.

If the screen was flat, I do believe it would cover the whole screen.

Gidday,

I bought bse for my sensation. Have had zagg invisible shields in the past & have only disliked the orange peel effect.

Bse was smoother & not textured, however, I managed to damage the skin installing it with a credit card - a long scratch line. Obviously I pressed too hard, but never experienced this with a zagg. I also found the screen to be significantly less sensitive once the bse was installed.

Clearly installation issues are due to the installer & not the product, but am surprised with the ease I put a permanent mark on the screen protector. Ultimately, the reduced screen sensitivity made me remove the skin.

I will now buy a zagg & see if that affects the screen on a sensation like the bse. They never did on the desire...

/2 cents :)

Let me know how the Zagg compares. I have always used bse but for some reason am cautious about buying it for my Sensation.
