We already saw that the Exynos got the beta version earlier.
I also saw today that about 14-15 hours ago Snapdragon possesors started receiving the Beta for the G96*U versions.

We also need to wait for the G96*0 version Beta.

Here i want all of Snapdragon versions possesors to post everything they have to help each other about the Beta.

U can also capture the OTA if u get and share it with us.

Thanks.

Got it installed on my Verizon S9+ running U1 firmware. Opted in for the beta through the members app and there was an update available when I checked in settings a minute later. I was running a Substratum theme and I just applied the default theme before taking the update to be safe. Seems nice and snappy so far.

Can this work as well on the international snapdragon variants? SM-G9600.
It also is snapdragon 845 and on the latest november patch CSK1. There doesnt seem to be much of a community with the sm-g9600. so thats why im asking if this could be flashed on this type of s9 variant.

No.
DONT try to update.
U have all the chances to brick your device.
Every version is different.
U cant flash from G96*U, U1, N, F, W versions.

As the link you quote is for S9+ (SG965), definitly no. Though, I have the same question as you concerning the OTAs files for G960 Snapdragon.
I mean, if it's the same hardware, I guess it'd be possible to flash a SG960U on a SG9600?

Thanks for the info bro. I wasn't gonna risk it since i knew the firmware were different but ughh so frustrating cuz since i got this model of s9 i hardly see a community support for it tbh. So does the SM-g9600/g9650 get there own beta as well or we actually gotta wait for official one ui 2.0 ?

yhh exactly thats why i was wondering but i wasnt gonna try flashing it cuz i didnt wanna risk bricking my phone. Sigh it sucks that every other version seems to be getting betas but not the sm-g9600/9650 models sigh

I can't speak to the other versions but you definitely can flash U1 onto U phones. The only difference in those two is U is carrier branded in the US and U1 is the factory unlocked in the US. The only difference in those firmwares is carrier bloat and some carrier specific settings for network.

I know this because I'm running U1 beta on an AT&T branded G960U.

My concern with this is the bootloader. In the 960U/U1 versions our bootloaders are locked and there's no way of unlocking. To my understanding the 9600 has an unlocked or unlockable bootloader. I've been curious what would happen in the past but not willing to turn my phone into a paperweight.

I also have a 9600 device so dont feel solo and yeah, i think we have to wait for the official one, stupid things.

You would have to be on the latest U1 Pie for the beta to work. If you're on U firmware and try to flash the beta it'll have a build mismatch and will fail.
You are correct sir. That's exactly what happened. I'm kinda rusty though, so I'll probably wait for the ota or til someone can upload the U firmware update.
