David will do the necessary to upload new builds once his exams are done and over with, relax guys. Developers have their own life too, they can't stick to xda every single day :) He doesn't owe us anything, instead let's just be patient till he uploads a new build!

Hi

I have experience in rooting and flashing and what not, but not with my Z3, however I'd like to root and install this rom.
I only have two questions:

1. Is this ROM fully working for daily usage?
2. Does the DRM function restoration from the topic in the Sony cross-device section work properly? So do you have the feeling your missing something you had with LB?

Thanks in advance!

Joey.

Since you only can do modified stock on LB, I don't find this fact disappointing... You can tailor it to your needs using Xposed etc without having to experiment with flashing stuff, wipes etc
True, however I'm running a z2 with existenze (or however it's spelled) and there's loads of nice little tweaks along with crossover features ported from other roms.

Sent from my D6503 using XDA Free mobile app

1. Yes, in my opinion it's already good for a daily usage.
2.1 No, it doesn't work, because doing this with cm and/or aosp would end in a soft-brick.
2.2 It's my own view, but I don't miss anything; the camera works fine, except in very low-light environment. I can live with it; the only thing I miss is the
possibility to save pictures/movies on ext sd; it's still not possible (as a workaround for that you can install an alternative camera app from playstore).

I know I should have purchased a Nexus or something, but at the time the best deal for my upgrade was on this device which I went for simply for cost. Of course first thing I did was network unlock, then I applied the locked bootloader root, but Bootloader Unlock Allowed: No :(

I'll probably stick it on Gumtree to see if anyone wants to swap for a similar Android device as I partly feel like I've made a mistake with the Xperia. I know Lollipop is (supposedly) round the corner but I guess I've always preferred running a stock/CM experience.

Who knows, maybe when the official release is out it may make ROMs for LB an easier process. I have seen CM12 running on other Sony devices with LB's such as the Xperia SP. Networks hey... a pain in the backside.
