My antivirus has detected: [email protected] when I trying to run WPDeviceManager.exe

If there was a virus in that app it should be known from long time...wpdm needs privileges to connect your device via usb/wifi so temper a little your security softs and make sure you got it straight from touchxperience' forum...
I'm sure you will appreciate Mr Schaps work.

Don't do it, whatever you do don't do it, you'll loose your interop unlock.

Seriously. I've been trying to get TouchXperience to install for about a day now, and it just doesn't want to. I had to do a hardreset yesterday, and before that hardreset it was working fine. Totally weird.
Anyone that could supply me with the XAP for TouchXperience 2.4.0.0?
Uninstalling WPDM, rebooting both PC and phone, installing WPDM and then rebooting the PC again didn't help. Neither did the regfix.

I was wondering the same thing. I currently have an HTC Titan and as of right now there is no interop unlock for my device yet. However, it says that the HTC Titan was tested with this already? A couple of months ago, I tried using TouchExperience on my phone with no luck. -Which I had to do a hard reset after. I am thinking since TouchExp utilizes all functionality of the phone, the device would have to be fully unlocked to install.

Could somebody clarify on this?

WPDM works with both Developers Unlock and Interop Unlock (or better ones) ...

If you have Interop Unlock it simply lets you do more things ...
And I have an HTC Titan too

breakthrough since HeathCliff came out with WP7 Root Tools 0.9 today!


Everything on my LG Quantum works with WPDM! Added touchexperience to the trusted app list under WP7 Root Tools and now all the features in WPDM work, including app backup, ringtones, windows folder browsing - you name it..

Finally WPDM pays off. Thank you Julien!

Where is the actuall App that needs to be installed on your phone?
I installed WPDM. I have an interop-unlocked phone (Focus S, with Windowbreak). When I start WPDM it does see my device, but can't connect. I'm guessing this is because the App isn't installed on the phone, but I cant find the app

Anybody know where to get it?
