16gb DDR3
Realtek ALC892 Audio
Realtek PCIe GBE LAN
1TB Toshiba HDD
Install remix to WD3200ACA HDD

Don't like no option to boot Android without using Windows dual boot when using HDD.
Not many/any good browsers the included Web browser crashes upon trying to open settings from it's menu
No wallpapers will install
Playstore is slow to download
Fun to tinker with but not usable yet.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

On Lenovo ThinkPad Twist Intel Core i5 (3rd Gen) 3317U / 1.7 GHz. Tablet mode working well except screen rotation. Using . 205, very fast all regular apps working except very specialized ones needing location access (not working).

Overall I am very impressed with this beta. As a longtime user of custom ROMs I've definitely seen much worse.

Sent from my LENOVO 33476WU using XDA Labs

Hello guyz !

Quick question, but really important for me, what if you need to develop for the web ? I mean, how could I use vagrant on RemixOS to develop a web app in PHP for instance ?
I think I will give this OS a try

Thanks :D

Motherboard : Gigabyte(GA-B85M-D3H)
Graphics Card : nVidia GT 630
CPU : i5 - 4670
Display Port : VGA

With the above configuration, at every boot i have to add the line "nouveau.modeset=0", else the boot process gets stuck at some android command line Interface, and even with this line "nouveau.modeset=0", still the resolution of the screen seems to be very low(nearly 1024x768) from the actual monitors resolution(1366x768), is there a way we can fix this graphics issue?

yes use a dvi or hdmi port. vga is limited.
and use your igp instead of a video card.

Runs smoothly for a beta. I'm sure more features will be added, but for a baseline this is really nice to have as an option.

I tried the latest build from the Jide website, and everything works except for the touchpad. The touchpad has never worked for me in anything other than ChromeOS or GalliumOS. Jide could likely use the GalliumOS kernel patches to fix this.

it support most of them if they have windows.
but it can have problems with amd computers.
with video cards (it preffer igp from intel)
and problems with external wifi and bluetooth modules but recent internal ones work.
it is mostly test and try. but if it does not work it is easy to remove.
but being a beta it need some messing around sometime.

My specs and complain

I can't use my dial up internet connection on RemixOS.
As there is an option to connect to dial up connection, after submitting user name and password it does nothing. I can't surf the web. It's a very serious bug. We are a group developers and all my colleagues are having the same issue. Please resolve it in the next OTA update.
Eagerly waitin'.
Congrats for making such a revolutionary OS!!!!!!!!!!!!!:good:

Please tell all of your colleagues to get back in the time machine and come back from 1992. That should fix your issue.

Hi! Im running Remix OS on an Acer Aspire V5 Nitro (VN7-572)
- Intel Core i5-6200U Skylake
- Intel HD Graphics 520
- 8 GB Ram ddr4
- On LAN Ethernet (cant get to turn on wifi)
- It runs on windows with realtek drivers and on pc says Dolby Audio (no problems with sound)
- SSD dont remember.

It works fine, and now or then it has some mayor glitches and laggs.

it was the problem with nvidia driver after all, i added nouveau.modeset=0 to grub command line and Remix OS booted up fine, however, when i was using 2.0.202 and older versions, i had no problem at all with nvidia driver, why now?
