I found that Oneplus 6 Camera M Mod works (mostly) very good on Oneplus 2 and gives better image quality than most GCam versions and stock OOS Camera.

It won't work on stock Marshmallow or any Nougat ROMs since its minimum SDK version is 26 (Android 8.0), I have tested it on ArrowOS Pie and AOSPExtended Pie ROMs (haven't tried it on Oreo ROMs but it should work).
Pro Mode doesn't work if you flash OnePlus Camera M using TWRP/Magisk; to fix this, install the apk inside the zip file located at OnePlusCameraM OP6 2018-09-23.zip\system\priv-app\OnePlusCamera\OnePlusCamera.apk . This won't need root but if you have any other OOS Camera installed you must uninstall it.
Go to Camera settings and turn Edge Mode and Noise Reduction OFF , it'll give images with tons of color noise in low light but you can get rid of it with Lightroom
It has quite a few bugs on OnePlus 2:
1. Camera bugs out when stutter time is more than 1/3 in pro mode
2. RAW mode brings out images with a red tint
3. Images seem a bit too overexposed and bright
4. Portrait mode doesn't show up as an option
5. Slo-motion just takes regular videos
6. Normal video will record but can't be playedback
What seems to be working:
1. Auto photo mode
2. Panorama mode
3. For recording video, use 1080p in slow motion mode (4K Causes green lines)
Laser AF also seems to be working
