Oh I read it doesn’t mean it’s not true. Around here people bash iPhone people all the time. As a person who changes it up every few phones from android to iPhone and back. I appreciate both and what they bring. Yet people have aligned themselves with one or the other like its a religion and bash the other. It’s the most ridiculous thing.

Some of the authors on BGR (like Zach Epstein) have to be paid by Apple. Why else would they write such openly biased and contradictory "articles" that are so easily debunked? They don't even try to explain their double standards.

I am writing on an iPhone because I am scared to break the pixel XL that I am supposed to be trading in for the pixel two XL. This is my work phone. I am very nervous about the screen issue. I have been to five different Verizon stores and none of them have had the display model working. They have the smaller one but none of them have the XL version working. I was given some BS excuse about support being installed incorrectly. But my question is why hasn’t one single store simply switch the plugs for one of the other phones? There is something seriously shady going on. I haven’t even turned in my pixel XL for Credit yet because things are looking so off with this whole thing.

I've seen multiple phones at two different Verizon stores in Roseville, CA and can say the issues with the screen are overblown. It's not much different than the screen on the original Pixel XL. I can't say about the possible burn in, but I can say that after I tested my original XL, it's there, but I would have NEVER noticed it until someone mentioned it and I downloaded the gray image to test. I don't know how long before it occurred (I've had my XL for a year), but again, under normal usage, I've NEVER noticed it. Not once and I wouldn't have noticed it now if I didn't actually LOOK for it.
