Thanks just placed an order for one. Reading all the reviews and seeing lack of interest is the Motorola Edge Section I am a little afraid of the order and that there might not be a lot of development for this phone.

I worry more on accessories
Since it uses Note Edge type screen, finding and installing tempered glass can be difficult

That's true I haven't found a single case manufacturer create a case for this phone yet. Also Just saw Motorola's site and they are using USB 2.0 instead of 3.0. Recently my OG Pixel died and now I need a phone, this phone does meet my hardware requirements at a lower cost than other phones out there.

That's my concern. I've been waiting for the Pixel 4a. Would be fine with the OnePlus Nord. But this is available (more or less) now at a nice price and beats them both on specs. Still, I won't buy a phone that I can't use for at least 4 years. I'm on a 2016 ZTE Axon 7, which still works pretty well under LOS 15.1. I don't care if Motorola doesn't support it for the long haul, but if it gets no 3rd party love, I'm out... By the way, the Axon 10 Pro is a great deal at B&H these days. But again, even though there's an unsupported LOS ROM for it, I fear it'll never reach critical mass...

The Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro is in the same class but has a faster CPU (865 vs 765G). The catch is that, since it's not officially sold in the US, it lacks a warranty and some LTE bands like 66 and 71. I don't know whether Squaretrade or the like would cover it. Never mind, it seems the F2 doesn't support any US 5G bands.

Also, Best Buy is taking orders for the Edge.
