Seidio 1750mah is so sweet...

...and some Best Buys carry them!

Call ahead, ask for the Best Buy Mobile department, and ask if they have the Platinum Series replacement battery in stock. Fits the Evo, Hero, Eris, etc too.

Yes, it is the Seidio battery, just rebranded to sound more 'Merican. Same goes with the cases, but unfortunately, they do not have the Seidio Incredible case... yet. ~$50 for the battery, about the same on the website, but you get it TODAY.

I had to shut off all my bluetooth and wifi before to get through a full day, but now I leave it on all day and still have a 50% charge. INSANE. YMMV.

I have the 3500mAh. It was $65 shipped from Amazon, and defiantly worth it. I get minimum of 48 hours of heavy use out of it (not watching movies, just surfing / games / text / maps / bluetooth music).

Before my purchase I was pretty turned off about the extra thickness it would add. But I decided to just try and, and wow it's not bad at all in real life. It just looks bad in pictures, hardly noticeable in real life, it's like the phone was made to be this way.

Highly recommended

Well, I don't know how the rest of you are getting such extended charges with a 3500 battery, but I AM at least getting a full day out of a charge now.
I'm usually at about 30% after 14 hours.

3500mh Battery is awesome!!!

Had the battery about a week now. Has definitely solved my battery issues once and for all. When working a 12-hour shift, I sometimes had to charge stock battery TWICE to make it through the day. Now, I have medium to heavy use throughout the day - including internet use, watching videos, etc., and still have 60% of battery left! I also have everything on that normally eats up the battery (Wi-Fi, GPS, full brightness level, etc.) VERY HAPPY WITH PURCHASE.

I got a 2600 mAh battery off of e bay for about $12...comes with cover. Looks blocky and bulky, but I have only used it a few times. First time I was at 27 hours and battery was still at 40%. But it does take FOREVER to charge back up in the external charger I bought of e bay for $5.

I was looking at the 3500 battery at the Seidio site and notice this in the ad.....

In order to obtain the full capacity of your Seidio battery, we highly recommend that you leave the battery/your phone on the charger for an additional 2-3 hours after the charging indicator turns green or the battery status show.

2 or 3 HOURS????? Who has time to do that??!!!

At that price, it sounds like you bought some off-brand garbage. While I hope that's not the case, could you please confirm/deny? What brand are these batteries?
I bought a 1500mah that was a 500mah. Was $5 with shipping and get a replacement right away that was no better. From Seller austintexwireless. Great customer service though. No hassle exchange/refund.

I'm not sure which one he's using, but I'm using the Seido 1750. My battery life is...decent, I guess. If I bump charge. After reading so many threads on battery life for Android phones and, specifically, HTC Android phones, I'm left wondering a few things:

1. Since HTC seems to have issues charging batteries fully...if we're wiping Battery Stats appropriately (assuming you are rooted), does the phone actually "register" that it's got such a large battery to charge? Or is the phone so stupid that it stops charging it at a 1500's capacity?
2. When apps sync their data, is Android OS smart enough to have them sync at the same time? Or, does my 30 minute Facebook sync occur 10 minutes after my 30 minute Twitter sync, etc.?
1. Voltage regulates charging so size of the battery does not matter. It WILL take longer to charge, but battery % is measured through voltage. As a cell discharges, voltage drops in a predictable way and as it charges voltage increases. A 1300(stock) stops charging at 4.2V so does a 3500 battery, both full.

2. No clue. I just know battery chemistry :p

Been using my new 2150 battery for almost a week now...

I'm kinda unsure if it's really worth it or not.

Surfing on Wifi gives me a whopping 9-10 hours of awake browsing/chatting/texting usage as opposed to the 5-6 I had on stock. That's amazing.

Standby time is also amazing, I slept for 8 hours after charging (bump charged) to full... Woke up and it was at 98%! These are dumbphone standards here! Course this is with the "mobile data always on" feature unchecked and wifi on.

However, when using 3G or talking the battery increase seems very minuscule. Talk time increased from ~4.5 hours to ~5.1 hours (isn't this what stock is rated at?) and I haven't done a real 3G test but it seems to be around 6 hours of awake 3G time. I'll update once I do a proper test. I'm curious why talk/3G drains my battery so much...

As far as the bulk goes, that's where I'm torn. I definitely like the Wifi-usage battery increase, but I thought if I got this battery I could talk and use 3G more often with the "mobile data always on" feature enabled. That doesn't seem to be the case and while I don't mind the bulk TOO much, I do prefer the slimmer profile of stock.

I'm running SkyRaider 3.0 RC2 with KingKernal BFS #2. I mostly run on 245-998Mhz Interactive while awake and 245-245Mhz Powersave while the screen is off.
