Got a weird problem overnight, where it appears my tf is bricked.

Went to turn it on and no go. Tried the power + vol down combo to no avail.

Oddly enough, when I plug the charger in, after a little I hear a "bing"

Any ideas before I send back to ASUS? I'd prefer to get stock back on before Rma-ing, or fix the issue entirely.

It's definitely a bing, and I get it both with and without the dock.

Hey I am getting this click too, the screen is not dead, I am stuck in clockwork and it won't read my sdcard, I hope I am not bricked. If anyone has any ideas, let me know please.

That "bing" probably your camera coming on. Could be a dead screen.
See if you get anything using hdmi out
Haven't tried hdmi out yet, but I plug it to the pc and the pc sees the storage, so that tells me it's not bricked. Have an ASUS RMA # and will be sending it in as it is still under warranty.

And we do the hokey pokey...

So I seem to have resurrected my TF101, here's how I did it:

1. Plug tf into computer
2. shut-down the tf by holding the power button for ~12 seconds
3. power-on the tf (still no screen display)
4. unplug and drain to <50% battery (just lucky guess)
5. Plug back in to computer
6. Try to turn off as it #2, instead get lock screen
7. Do happy happy joy joy dance
8. flash back to stock rooted ICS (US)
9. Take a break from rom flashing
