Great work ... A few questions, is there a way to use the 5.1 xda version of the V10 camera where the duplicated items were fixed ? I tried just update the app with that but didn't work..
I thought the latest kdz was the Swiss one with August,1 patch, except of that is this German one better ?
And finally, when I tried to extract the img file I got some erros, I ingonred, but decided to copy the zip and extract in the phone, which worked but is a slow thing. The question is, are those erros expected If I do using Windows 10, so Just ignore would be ok?

We need to wait for LGUp and the phone to communicate until the phone is ready to be controlled by Send_Command.exe. At this point the phone screen just starts to show the big green port number. Meanwhile it shows 9% on PC.

Yes correct but in my case: I first flashed the correct kdz (lg up) and then run again the lg up up to 9% which was redundant. In both cases, the port was shown on lg up even before I started everything and it was the same port the phone showing. I am using a H815. So, if I understood correctly we did that to open the communication and not to find the port ?

you must first upgrade your system to the v20i or v20j (I will share soon) with LGUP and then install the "system" modified.

I use a LG G4 H818P. Depite my new on Android, I am so keen to learn how to make rom myself.

A few days later, I tried to do some research on moding system.img and I have made this system.img.

Change log:
- V20e-ESA-xx based kdz
- add basic functionality of Genisys theme from here:

- including, Live Wallpaper, Miniview, and theme mods.
- change dpi to 540
- remove some Google pre-installed apps

This system.img is currently working fine on my device (H818P), there is no problem so far.

I don't want to post my work on a separate thread because I just asked the_naxhooto make what I just did and he may working on it. Therefore, I will give all credit to him.

It's located in /system/bin directory.
It's responsible of drain battery on marshmallow on G4 firmware.

As I was using rooted lollipop, I can confirm with GSAMBattery monitor app that this method works fine.
