Hello, i had Android 5.1.1 version, then i installed the Chippa 7.1.2 Nougat version. Now i decided to go back to the 5.1.1 version so i used Emma Software from Sony to flash the phone to the 5.1.1 version.

After finished i turn on my phone, it appears the Sony logo and then there is a black background and never end. I can't turn off with the power button but i can restar the phone pressing power button + volume up. But anyway is the same because the black background is still there.

The bootloader is unlocked so i can't use Sony Companion to use the Software Repair. The only thing i can use is the Emma Software and the Flashtool i think..

EDIT: I'm using Flashing Tool, i enter and downloaded the last Xperia Z firmware for the 5.1.1 version. When i press on flash it doesn't appear the version i downloaded but in the folder choose it appears. I don't understand nothing i don't know what to do..

I always use flashtool v0.9.18.5 and 4.2 jellybean ftf to go back to stock
never have any problems
why don't you try flashing stock 5.1 using the version of flashtool I mentioned above ?

Okey, now i flashed using Flashtool 0.9.18.6 and is flashed, but i have still the problem with the black background after the logo.

Now i will try doing with the 4.2 version... Where do you get the FTF file of this version?

EDIT: OMG it worked! Finally i can use my phone, all the **** night awake because i need the phone..

And now what? If i want the 5.1.1 what i have to do now? It was very hard to do this and i don't want to make the same mistake.

try this, it's a stock 5.1.1 flashable zip rom, not the FTF
