Black screen of death

Hello dear community.
I have a problem with my Mi5s.
My Mi5s screen is completely dead! The phone literally works and I could also flash a rom and hear sounds but everything is black.
What should I do? I can't imagine that I destroyed the hardware because I now how to repair mobiles and also had the right tools.
Should I buy a new Displayframe and repair my cracked glass with a hope of a working screen?
Fastboot works!
