They locked my thread...No I didn't get permission due to the fact he won't respond to my messages so I released it and the thread was closed...Hoping someone will get in touch with me over it...I have the package still but waiting on some contact

This is all that holding up development at this point...ROMs are ready but can't be released with Google services prebuilt in them...Just a waiting game at this point

well, obviously he didnt respond because he didnt want you to post it..
there is a certain decorum that needs to be observed even on XDA, so its not right to post something built by another dev if he doesn't give you permission

Thing is....He posted the original Gapps package that I edited...I thought I was doing the community a favor but that won't happen again...It don't do any good to release work...He was given credit, he was given recognition for his contribution and I figured all would be well.

Obviously I was wrong in trying to give back to a community that has given much to me...But this is off topic and I would like to keep the thread cleaned from clutter involving anything I have worked on...If you want to talk to me about this...Please PM

This whole website has become a sjw whine cry baby fest. I created it, don't ask stupid questions because you're a new user and genuinely want help. This site is dying and it's obvious why and I personally think it's on purpose at this point. We're here to help each other and grow as a community people, not bicker and fight and wine.

@pjgraber03 I flashed just the Bliss ROM and I can't get data. It just tells me to insert the SIM, Do you want a logcat after reboot? How long do you want it to run? I'm on VZW not that it should matter.

EDIT: Logcat link sent via PM. I started it during the boot animation.

This is the current status of the gapps issue from beanstown106
so ya i made a gapps vendor for pixel phones for now to hold us over that rom devs can include in their project https://gitlab.com/PureNexus/android_vendor_pixelgapps/tree/android-7.1

and then just call the pixel-gapps.mk from your pixel product makefile like so https://github.com/PureNexusProject...mmit/d77442a57e7fd44db6663b196990ea0308167399

I really don't know, it has something to do with the vendor for sure. You would have to ask beans.

I was lucky enough to test a recent build and the data issue is resolved. Test ROM has been running since 10 AM EST and has been very stable. It does not seem happy running the Pixel launcher but launcher 3 works fine. It has a nice selection of tweaks. With any luck we should be seeing a working gapps soon. I do have one but it is not my work so I cannot share. I still have a few FC's but very minimal. Overall I think I can use Bliss as a daily driver already. Its pretty solid.

The pixel launcher must be renamed to PixelLauncherPrebuilt (both the folder and the apk) and you shouldn't have anymore issues with it
