Thanks but I have done exactly what you suggest and no go. Not a big deal. Must be something on my side since others have been successful.
I flashed this ROM last night just as I said and it worked perfectly...I'm not quite sure what's going on with your install then

I just tried it again. I went into recovery and I noted TWRP said slot A was active. I then did a factory reset and flashed just the ROM and TWRP. It then showed slot B was active. I rebooted into recovery and saw it still said slot B was active. I flashed 7.1 gapps and it looked like it installed fine, no errors. I went back into the reboot menu in TWRP and it said slot B was still active. I booted the ROM and no gapps. I've tried Open, Benzo, and Banks... All with the same result. I guess my next step is a complete wipe of the device but does seem to be flashing gapps somewhere. My assumption is it is flashing to the non active slot, but how?

I have no issue with any ROM that has gapps built in but I really want to get this working. Maybe a complete wipe of the device? Maybe Flash stock and start from there?

Your using the wrong Gapps...You need to visit the pure nexus thread and get beans dynamic gapps

The reason they're not staying is because they're not installing to the proper location...All those Gapps you mentioned install to system, and the pixel has to have them install to /system/system

You're lucky he just posted an update on g+...Lol

Hello. I have always used bliss as my ROM of choice and i love the work you do.

I am having an issue installing tonight which hopefully i can get a quick resolution to.
(I realize this is alpha, but others seem to be find so lets just see what i may have missed)

On install through TWRP I get a two errors
"could not find 'META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary' in the zip file"
And then a general error about the install failing.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mick

PS.

The fix for this was installing TWRP RC 2, not alpha 1... not alpha 2...RC 2

Excited for more

I have been stable for a few days and am loving it so far.

I get a message every time i reboot my phone saying there is a problem and i should contact my vender. but it does not seem to effect anything.

Is this the best place to follow development? I noticed there are new builds up (a day newer than the ones I have installed) but I don't see an update here or a changelog.

Looking forward to updates.
Thanks,
Mick
