OK...I got my Ouya the other day, and have read that some folks are having luck with paring a different Bluetooth controller with their device. So...since I will be playing a LOT of old school NES and SNES ROMs I picked up one of these:

However every time I try and pair the Outs asks for a 4 digit PIN. (and suggests 0000 or 1234) Tried those...no luck and I looked thru the single page of instructions that came with the controller THERE IS NO PIN LISTED FOR THE DARN THING!

I was hoping someone else might have had a similar problem and could suggest a fix. Other than the issue pairing this other controller... I really like the system.

Thanks for any help,

Brad

I bought one of those for that EXACT reason... unfortunately i had the same issue
after some googling i found out you have to have a special app for it called wiiremote or something
using this i could at least pair the controller to hit, but afterwords it would only read A B and the Dpad
nothing else worked... feel bad cause my GF bought it for me a few months ago, and we cant return it anymore

Yeah...I tried that and have had no luck getting the controller to pair and work.

I have one since I actually have a WiiU, was trying to use it myself and had no luck, and I've been unsuccessful in finding any information to get it working.. I've been told it works with most android devices so I'm a bit surprised.

Is the ouya running 4.1 or 4.2. It is known that wiimotes don't work at all on 4.2 due to a few changes in the Bluetooth stack.

Otherwise, try the default 0000 pin.
