Bluetooth App is 8.0.0
Sound settings doesn't matter for me.
I use aptXHD but there is no difference
Thanks...

I have pioneer head unit in my car and still experiencing losing sound, on moments, and then after 15-20 min it stop working completely.
I did not have this issue on Nought
worst part is for some reason my OnePlus Log Kit is not working, so cannot send log to OP

I also have issue with my bluetooth headphones, they kept re-connecting with my phone every couple seconds but after turning bluetooth off and on again on my phone seems to work fine now.

My seat Leon my 16 discover pro does mostly not connected automatically on Oreo.

Tried cleanflash of oreo, no change.
Back to 7.1.1 everything fine.
Hey, query for you? How do I roll back to a previous version of android? I don't need 8.0 and I am no android pro like most of you people. If you can point me in a direction it would be helpful. I am having the same Bluetooth issue and I need BT more then I need 8.0/8.1 frankly. I have actually considered dumping this phone because of the BT issues, it's that much of a problem for me.

Any help would be welcome. Thanks!

For the last few days it has been working fine in my car (2016 BMW 340i), but in my wife's car (2015 BMW 328i) with the same media interface, it actually CRASHES the entire car's system and iDrive does a full reboot. Never seen that before with any device.
Well it is a BMW, they are known for horrific electronics systems... ?

Bluetooth won't stay connected

I have Samsung and I'm experiencing the same issue with my car's bluetooth... Ever since I updated to Oreo my phone won't stay connected... It just randomly disconnects and reconnects itself... It no longer automatically starts when I turn on the car, I can no longer skip songs without it disconnecting... It's an understatement when I say that it's extremely annoying ?... I think I've tried everything short of throwing my phone out the damn window ?... I've spoken to Samsung and they told me I should take my car to the dealership to have them upgrade my system in the vehicle... I refuse to pay for a diagnostic and be told it's not my car but the doggone phone... They need to just up and admit there's a flaw in the upgrade itself and create a damn fix asap!!!!

I'm having the exact same problem. ATT rolled out the Oreo 8.0 update a few days back, did it on my Samsung Galaxy S8. You describe the exact same issue I'm having. I can't upgrade my radio software as it's aftermarket. Ran perfectly fine on Nougat. I called Samsung and they directed me to a Best Buy to get my phone reflashed. Seeing as multiple people have tried that in this thread it would seem that it's not going to fix the problem. Clearly a problem with Oreo. It's one of the most frustrating ones I've ever had.

Has anyone found a solution yet? Controls work, but 9 out of 10 times my car's head unit displays "No service", even though the phone shows 4 or 5 bars. Sometimes the head unit will show the phone's signal, but it won't update it after that. It'll keep showing 4 or 5 bars even when there's really no service in the area. I also have constant audio stuttering. Both problems happen with both OOS and LineageOS, so it has to be either the modem or the Oreo API. I've tried everything, including replacing the bluetooth.emmc.win with Nougat's, filing multiple bug reports with OnePlus, etc.

Same, exact issues. Really annoying. Today I tried changing Bluetooth codec. It worked after a few seconds but after that it changed back to default and lost connection... It didn't let me change it permanently... May be it is something with codec... ?
