bluetooth not connecting to car

i just got a new chevy cruze and im trying to connect my bluetooth with no success. It will say its paired, but when i try to make a call thru my car it wont work. Also while it is paired it is not connectable. Can someone give me some info or pointers please.

I don't know if this will help much but same thing happens here and the fix involves some combination of first unpairing and turning off bluetooth on the phone, then resetting the bluetooth device to put it back into pair mode. I have no idea why it happens but it's maddening.

thanks, i will try that. ****s kinda frustrating. im also unable to stream music from my phone.
