Hi,

I have a bit of a problem...caused by myself and not this patcher, but it is loosely related to it.

I recently rooted my N9 and applied the Magisk libsecure_storage module which sorted the BT pairing issue. I then had to load the phone with Magisk in core only mode which meant the pairings were lost again, so I thought I'd manually put the library files in the lib and lib64 folders, edited the build.prop. On reboot, the phone went on a weird loop. It stayed booted as such but it just wasn't possible to enter my passcode as the screen was flashing. I tried rebooting, same happened. Then decided to go into TWRP to restore the files I had overwritten and edited the build.prop again. Since this point my phone has been stuck on the carrier logo screen with the proximity sensor light constantly on, but fading brighter and darker. I then tried flashing the Magisk libsecure_storage module in TWRP to uninstall, no change and my latest effort was to flash this patcher from TWRP but again no change. It's just on the logo screen with the blue light fading and getting brighter.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix please? I haven't taken a TiBu backup of all my important stuff yet, so preferably a fix without the need for a reset :)

Thanks for any help.

Humm sorry this patch is not for you.
It's specific to a Samsung issue.
You should go in OP3T section to get help.

Samsung N-920T

I understand this fix is for newer devices however since i'm running 9 on the note 5 and having the same issue i figured i might be able to get a bit of help. If it's possible to get a fix for us lowly note 5 users myself and any future users would be grateful.

as requested here is a copy of my build.prop:

And a copy of libbluetooth.so also:

If you need any other information that you might need. Thank you so much for the work you've done and hope you can work some magic.

I was not expecting such old device would also have this issue.. :p
But if I can help, no problem!
So same issue for sure? Loose of paired bluetooth devices after reboot or airplane mode switch?
Bcz by taking a first look, I can not figure out where to patch your lib.
I will need your /data/misc/bluedroiddump/subBuffer.log to get more relevant info.

I found the culprit while going through logs from a couple of days ago. It was apparently caused by a weird flash of my sound mod (figures... i post for a bit of help and again find out its user error) and has been resolved. I appreciate your work and apologize for my ramblings.
