Blurry Images of Facebook in Contact Widget

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering on how to get rid of these blurry Facebook-linked photos in the htc sense contact widget. Normal contact images synced from Outlook don't have this problem but those who are automatically linked from facebook are blurry ans at low resolution.
Anyway, how do I get quality facebook contact photos in the widget and incall-screen?

This is an old issue with android.

once your contacts are synced with your google account, they will get blurry. Try this, Remove your facebook account, move all the contacts from Google to Phone, and resync with facebook.

Sync your contacts with "Facebook For HTC Sense" not "Facebook".

'Facebook for HTC Sense' has changed in the 2.3.5 ROM and doesn't behave in the same way as it used to. It links to Facebook like an app now and Facebook asks your permission to have access like any other app trying to connect to Facebook.

When you select to sync contacts with the Facebook app 'Facebook for HTC Sense' then kicks in - bit annoying tbh

Yeah its really cap, when someone calls you just get a blurry picture. Any alternatives?

Ive now synced my contacts with htc sense however not everyone has their profile picture? How can this be?

Again, issue with 2.3.5 ROM - I've got the same issue. I'm going to try something this evening so will let you know if it works

Ive solved it, well for me anyway. I just keep syncing the accounts and they gradually update to htc sense photos nice and clear

Man stop Facebook from syncing your contacts.
Install friendcaster pro and go to sync menu, tick sync contacts and sync high resolution pics!

I'm having the same issues. Used to do the "Facebook for htc sense" thing, but now in Sence 3.5 the option doesn't exist!

I hate facebook for htc sense. Gonna try friendcaster, not the pro version though, **** paying.

By the way I installed ARHD 4.1 the other day and the problem was gone.
