Blurry Picture Messages (MMS)

Here we go again.. I always have this issue. First with the Nexus One now with the Galaxy Nexus. In the past I've went into the STOCK messenger app and changed the CUSTOMER USER AGENT to spoof it as a BLACKBERRY. On ICS, I do not have that option and I tried playing around with the APN by copying it from a G2X and still no love.

I'm on TZONES using EPC.TMOBILE.COm if that helps any.

A lot of people are. Apparently its tmobiles end.

From the research I've done it seems that the problem is that Tmobile doesn't recognize our devices, and so it defaults to a smaller mms size for us. From what I've read the solution is to modify the mms.apk to spoof the user agent string. I've been trying to do it, but have not been successful in doing so. Does anyone know how to change the user agent string in the mms.apk?

Ditto. Very annoying. Experiencing the same problem with T-Mobile USA.

Sounds like a passive-aggressive way for TMo to steer you to a branded phone...

im hating this as well i can send pictures but when i receive one it comes out small and blurry.
