it seems there must be something that changed??? after a few minutes the theme changes back to the standard theme on its own, all though i have cleared data and blocked the 2 files suggested in the op in a non-rooted Note 5. BUMMER!
can you take away the trial version and make a full version for people that donated?

It works perfectly with root and without root, try and follow the instructions....
I use them on s7E whit root
and
s8 + without root....
HOW TO THEME INSTALL*
* ROOT:*
- Copy the apk in your phone*
- Install it from the archive manually*
- Expects that the application is installed*
- Using RootExplorer or similar enters in data/overlays/ and delete the folder "preferences"*
- Then in data /overlays/jsonfiles/trialjson cuts*the*bobcat.xxx.json file*
** and paste it in data/overlays/jsonfiles / userjson*
- restart*
- Go to the Theme Store Samsung and apply*
- done*
without ROOT*
ATTENTION
Repeat the procedure every time you restart your phone
with the new firmware that does not work properly*
try these methods*
- Download from the Play "Package Disabler Pro (samsung)"
- Apply the theme in Trial version*
- Open "Package Disabler Pro"*
- Search for "Theme" delete cache and data and block:*
** 1. com.samsung.android.themestore*
** 2. com.samsung.android.themecenter*
- for a new theme, open "Package Disabler Pro" and unlock:*
* 1. com.samsung.android.themestore*

Hi i have installed the donated version of Black Gold and the folders dont look too good with icons on top.
will this be fixed？
Also I find it hard to view the Small Secondary Characters in the Keyboard because they are black it would be better if they where gold or blue.
I hope you can fix it as it's a nice theme and it's almost perfect.

I repeat again, the themes are for many types of devices, please tell me the type and rom and possibly attach screenshots .... not everything can be compatible to fix .... thanks
