Bookloader unlock wait time

If I buy a new Redmi Note 7 Pro from ebay, how long is the wait to get the bootloader unlocked nowadays? Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the info. It is guaranteed to be unlockable after a certain wait period, right? ebay's return policy is like 14-30 days, so I doubt it can be unlocked in the return window.

Oh it's usually 15 days but most of the times It gets unlocked a few days earlier if tried (happened to quite a few). Yep, once that wait time is over, it would unlock the bootloader when you try again but would format the storage as well.
