Try the new settings i posted first, if you want to update - make a nandroid backup wipe as you would to install a rom, flash a sense rom, go to system updates and update prl and profile then restore your nandroid.

This new proxy fixed my recent issues with Boost mms. ... But i manually input it within go sms.

Is there a way or if someone knows how to edit the boost. Apn file so I can use it on apn backup restore?

Anyone know how?

-and is MMSC still needed? Http://mm.myboostmobile.com

Open the voice dialer app and speak APN, you should see a box that says open APN click it........ yes use the same MMSC

Dam I wish someone can make a new apn xml file..

No mms will be a deal breaker for me and it may be time to switch...

With this new proxy, seems like you can not use wifi to download mms.

Must turn off wifi in order to download mms... Basically have to be on boost mobile ip address to download the photo

Thats either the mms app your using or the rom. Just tried sending and recieving with wifi on and went with out issue..

    This thread is for Boost Mobile flashed EVO 4g phones, my intentions are to find any roms for the EVO 4g that are Boost Mobile MMS friendly, meaning no third party mms app needed. You know the deal (you must load gosms for picture messaging) ,this is usually not the case. Remember this is an ongoing thread i will add new roms to the list as they come out and i test them. If you would like one added that you have tested and confirm working pm me with rom link and detailed instructions or reference instructions i have already posted and i will add it to the OP.

    Instructions for mms :

    • Open Phone dialer and dial ##DATA#.
    • Select Edit Mode.
    • Enter your MSL number. (if you do not know it, try 000000)
    • Select Advanced
    • You should now be in your default APN window.
    • Scroll down to MMS Sever URL and click on it.
    • A box should pop up with an address in it, change it to http://mm.myboostmobile.com
    • Hit the return soft key 3 times, You should be back on your home page
    • Reboot and enjoy

    These settings need to be exact if there is nothing after the = then clear that field of any text or *. TOTALLY BLANK
    After you complete the above hit the soft menu button on your phone and hit save.
    Now you should be back to a list with one APN called Sprint and under that Boost_Mobile. Make sure the circle next to it has a blue dot in it, if not click on it. Hit the return softkey on you phone, you should now be back to your rom.
    END OF THIS STEP

    Next Step:

    • open the mms app that is included in this rom.
    • Hit the menu softkey on your phone.
    • Hit settings
    • Scroll down to "Custom User-Agent" and hit the down arrow to the right.
    • Select "BlackBerry 8800" in the list
    • Reboot Phone (Don't Skip this) and send yourself a MMS message. (you may have to send one wait then send another and it should work).

    If you are talking about putting in cricket apn settings i don't see why it wouldn't but I have no way to test that.
