ok, thats what i did. its the limitation of the mms. Probably has to be 500k or less. If i find some way of adjusting the max i will post it.

Will this work for cricket wireless being that i use my settings does anyone know???

    This thread is for Boost Mobile flashed EVO 4g phones, my intentions are to find any roms for the EVO 4g that are Boost Mobile MMS friendly, meaning no third party mms app needed. You know the deal (you must load gosms for picture messaging) ,this is usually not the case. Remember this is an ongoing thread i will add new roms to the list as they come out and i test them. If you would like one added that you have tested and confirm working pm me with rom link and detailed instructions or reference instructions i have already posted and i will add it to the OP.

    All Roms listed below have been tested by me with the instructions found under each section. These settings may also work with other roms.

    MMS SETTINGS

    Instructions for mms :

    • Open Phone dialer and dial ##DATA#.
    • Select Edit Mode.
    • Enter your MSL number. (if you do not know it, try 000000)
    • Select Advanced
    • You should now be in your default APN window.
    • Scroll down to MMS Sever URL and click on it.
    • A box should pop up with an address in it, change it to http://mm.myboostmobile.com
    • Hit the return soft key 3 times, You should be back on your home page
    • Reboot and enjoy

    These settings need to be exact if there is nothing after the = then clear that field of any text or *. TOTALLY BLANK
    After you complete the above hit the soft menu button on your phone and hit save.
    Now you should be back to a list with one APN called Sprint and under that Boost_Mobile. Make sure the circle next to it has a blue dot in it, if not click on it. Hit the return softkey on you phone, you should now be back to your rom.
    END OF THIS STEP

    Next Step:

    • open the mms app that is included in this rom.
    • Hit the menu softkey on your phone.
    • Hit settings
    • Scroll down to "Custom User-Agent" and hit the down arrow to the right.
    • Select "BlackBerry 8800" in the list
    • Reboot Phone (Don't Skip this) and send yourself a MMS message. (you may have to send one wait then send another and it should work).

    If you are talking about putting in cricket apn settings i don't see why it wouldn't but I have no way to test that.
