install via Custom Recovery

Non-Flashable Download
use file explorer and move to /system/media and set permissions rw- r-- r-- then reboot

Odd... flashed your flashable file through TWRP, but when I tried navigating to the new boot animation it's not listed.

u don't see it in system/media/bootanimation.zip

that is odd it should be there, did it atleast boot up? also does ur file explorer hide system files?

not through an apk, just through flashable or u can install manually just by downloading the bootanimation.zip and move to system/media and fix permissions in OP

Even I am having the same issue, unable to install it through TWRP & not listed in Themes also... awkward

Its not a themw apk so it won't show in theme engine, it just overides the stock, if u flash through twrp
