Hi!!

I have resized the boot animation Vaudeville Android (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982438) for the Note.

Place bootanimation.zip in the folder /system/media

For back to stock: Delete bootanimation.zip

My boot animation is with the black background.

Don't worry.
Place bootanimation.zip in the folder /system/media and reboot.

You can do anything else for SHOTDOWN-Animation for SGN , replacing the boring Samsg-Anim. ??

THX H.

I don't know, sorry :-(

Great and funny ;)
After flash.. If I want back to normal boot how?

Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium

Not be flashing anything. Simply copy bootanimation.zip in the folder /system/media
When you want to put the stock, delete bootanimation.zip.

Regards.

Sorry for my bad english.

To use Bootanimation in shutdown, rename the file downanimation.zip together Bootanimation.zip, in the same folder system/media use a rootexplorer

Hi!!

Hi there,

Got a nice bootanimation from my DesireHD period.
Tried to resize it to 800 x 1280 and edited the txt file that goes with it, with the appropriate resolution of 800 x 1280 of the new bootanimation, and zipped it.
But doesn't work.

Please explain me how you did it or where I could find howto.

Once I succeed, I'll post my bootanimation here too :)

Hi!

Try this program

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1234611

Thats works for me.

I tried to put your bootanimation in my /system/media folder and it is RO?

How to you mount it RW?

You need root.

Hi there,

Works fine indeed!

bootanimation.gif

This bootanimation isn't my work, I only found it long time ago and used it on my DesireHD. Don't know who to credit for it.
I only resized it to better fit our shiny Notes ;)

The bootanimation can be found here

Hi there,

Well, as far as my knowledge goes on Samsung devices, downanimations are impossible.
To be certain though, I tried to renaming a working bootanimation to downanimation as you mentioned (and which works indeed on HTC's). I wonder if you tried it yourself?

And now I can say for certain, that the animation doesn't show during shut down. The trick doens't work.

Regards,
