unless you have a premium account don't upload it to dropbox ...did the same mistake once and couldn't share links for 2days from dropbox.
Also latest cm-11 theme chooser supports bootanimation too, I can make it into an apk so that it is convinient for users.
Anyone who has downloaded can make a mirror or wait for OP.

Bootanimation in CM Theme Pack

I created several different boot animations for my phone based off of Cyanogen Inc's new logo and thought I might share it with the community. Hope you enjoy!

Available Resolutions:
HDPI = 480x800
XHDPI = 720x1280

Requirements:
* Unlocked bootloader
* Rooted device
* Root explorer app (ES File Explorer recommended)

Install Instructions:
Step 1. Rename .zip to "bootanimation.zip"
Step 2. Transfer "bootanimation.zip" to internal SD card
Step 3. Copy file to /system/media or to data/local (your choice)
Step 4. Set file permission to rw-r-r-
Step 5. Reboot

Notes:
I'll be adding more XHDPI sizes and newer boot animations when I have the time.

View second post and on-wards for boot animations. Enjoy!

These are really cool. Would you mind making one with circle motive? Also would you please give us backgrounds of animations? It would look cool if it was booting and then your background would look like the boot anim w/o anim. Also I consider changing my splash screen to one of them with added manufacturer name (HTC in my case) so it would make like a theme splash->boot->wallpaper.

Hello everyone, sorry for the downtime. Everything is now back up. Happy downloading!

I'll be adding the following screen sizes in a couple of days:

320x480 = MDPI
1080x1920 = XXHDPI

I also plan to add OnePlus One style boot animations (spinning Cyanogen shape) and additional picture background boot animations in the coming weeks.

HDPI is 480x854...!!

Currently following the configuration examples from Dev. API Guide here: http://developer.android.com/guide/practices/screens_support.html

But i'll see about adding 480x854 soon.

Can they be applied in the CM theme engine?
Also lets say i apply one , is it going to survive a nightly update or is it going to be need to be applied every nightly update?
Btw i tried to download them but dropbox gives me an error "Error (509)

For right now, they cannot be applied via CM's theme engine and will need to be applied on every nightly update. This will soon change though.
