this should be as default in cm11 roms, enabling a "random bootanimation" so we can enjoy all of your good work ^^

I created several different boot animations for my phone based off of Cyanogen Inc's new logo and thought I might share it with the community. Hope you enjoy!

Available Resolutions:
HDPI = 480x800
XHDPI = 720x1280

Requirements:
* Unlocked bootloader
* Rooted device
* Root explorer app (ES File Explorer recommended)

Install Instructions:
Step 1. Rename .zip to "bootanimation.zip"
Step 2. Transfer "bootanimation.zip" to internal SD card
Step 3. Copy file to /system/media or to data/local (your choice)
Step 4. Set file permission to rw-r-r-
Step 5. Reboot

Notes:
I'll be adding more XHDPI sizes and newer boot animations when I have the time.

View second post and on-wards for boot animations. Enjoy!

@SlurmsMcKenzie , i did as you said but it give me open failed EROFS (Read-only file system)
i saw the permisions for the downloaded file is -rw-rw----

I know that I may be asking too much but can you make these bootanimations in the .qmg format? I have a SGS4 and I'm using a GPE rom and my bootanimation is a .qmg file..

You should make an apk for each boot animation for the new theme chooser it would be a lot easier for users to switch between boot animations

Hey, i'd love to use your loaders, however i couldn't find the the both folders you've mentioned.
i've tried to create them myself but still it didn't change anything.
