I'm sorry guys, I'm trying to get new bootanimations out but something's going on with my prime D:

Whenever I reboot, when the boot animation (ANY one :/) enters the loop folder, it flashes a white TV-staticy looking screen and goes black until the lockscreen appears. Kinda scared :( gonna let it cool down and put it back on stock for a while. Sorry!

Boot animations don't normally have sound for most android devices, including the Transformer Prime. I've been testing and trying to figure out how to get it working but unfortunately I think I need root access to do so (and I updated and broke my root on accident).

Update

UPDATE:
*NEW* Kickass Android animation (see front page)
(HQ coming soon, I'm sleepy and this was a test package x.x)

Also coming:
Newer BF3 with better-looking twitch animation and possibly better quality/framerate

Any other requests at the moment?

I would love to see some sort of Game Of Thrones boot animation.

I'm rocking the decepticon boot animation right now. Best boot I've seen to date.

Thanks man! I really appreciate it!

If you have some sort of clip for GoT that you'd like me to base it off of, I'd be happy to do it!

I didn't have anything specific in mind. I don't know how difficult is it to create boots from clips but you could try the opening for the show. Its almost a 2 minute vid though.

It's not hard on me, only on your Prime :p but yeah that may be a bit much. It'd probably be easier on it with some sort of logo loop or something. I'll look around :)

system>media i can add smaller bootanimations to that folder but not the 20meg transformer one
I had same problem. I had always used system/media for Bootanimations. But with the larger one I now use data/local for them and they do Great.
Correct, larger boot animations must be placed in the /local/data folder. Sorry, I'll add that to my guide.

I'm not enjoying the decepticon boot animation from the op. Thanks! I pressed the button.
Not haha? :p well thank you!

And I'm traveling today so I'll try to get some of these done on the plane if my battery can hold up!

so when adding to data/local do i need to rename or delete the one in system/media? I never knew bootanimations could be read from data/local, thats news to me. I always thought they had to be in sytem/media...Thx

Nope, it checks /data/local first, so you don't have to worry about the stock one. In fact, you don't even have to make a backup of it (which makes it easier)!
