That fixed it! Are all of them like that and or have to fixed them all?
No problem, Claude. Glad I could help.
I would doubt they're all like that, perhaps some of the converted zips from other devices with lower resolutions could have the same problem, will have to wait and see if anyone reports more scaling issues.

I notice that the option to turn boot sounds off does not seem to be working on Bonsai (mj4 base) The actual bootanis flash just fine and work but I can't seem to silence the boot sound.

I believe that option is if the flashable boot animation included a custom poweron.ogg file. Otherwise the default boot sound will play.

Any idea how to use these without flashing? I'm rooted by still haven't tripped Knox and don't want to flash a recovery.

I'm familiar with moving files around in root, but the zips seem pretty involved.

These flashable.zips are all based on an aroma installer including a GUI via recovery (TWRP).

You could download and extract the zip and try manually replacing the files in /system/media/bootanimation.zip with adb or root explorer, you'll have to set the permissions to rw-r--r--, but I can't say whether or not that will trip your KNOX counter. Worst case scenario is that this method could cause bootloops so be advised that its not worth the risk.

From what I know, moving root files shouldnt trip knox.

Can you specify what files go where? Specifically, what file do we replace to have the system look for the boot zip

I have not tried manually installing boot animations on this device. Can't say whether or not you'll have any success.

The boot animation and other imbedded media on your phone are stored in /system/media/ and in that directory you will find the bootanimation.zip
you could try to replace the contents of the flashable.zip's bootanimation.zip with the file located in your phone.
Be careful and good luck. I will reiterate that I don't recommend this method, it could cause issues.

so if I want to toss a poweron.ogg into the flashable zip to get it included where would I stick it?

also can we change the shut down animation and sound?

also can we change the initial splash screen like we could on the S3 ?

Hey kev. You think you could do an android update screen one? Like this: https://www.google.com/search?q=and...%2FFile%3AAndroid_Update_Screen.JPG;1850;2689

That would be dope.
I'm on it, got a Bonsai bootani to finish but I will start on this as soon as I can.

Update: I have obtained the source files for this, just need to convert them and build the flashable zip. Shouldn't take long.
Edit: I'm working on it, going to take longer than this evening, going to have to convert each frame individually.
It is a simple loop but I'll optimize this by modifying the loading bar. Gonna work on it in the morning.

Added MININ3 Boot Animation to Post 2.
Added @TrofeoSC Plasma Boot Animation as requested. See Post 2.
(Increased resolution, attempted to enhance quality. It is in its original boot animation format; if there are any issues with it, let me know.)

Updates on upcoming boot animations;

JellyBomb V3 (w/ Green variant) - Complete... Reverted to V1, optimized frames, converted colors.
Plasma (Boot Animation) V1 - Complete... V2 in progress... (File size optimization, enhanced quality, etc)
Bonsai ROM (Boot Animation) V1 - In progress... First design complete, animating... (about 1/2 done)
Android Update (Boot Animation) V2 - In progress... Improving graphical quality, adding "loading" bar.
