There used to be a blue helix animation for the E4GT, and it was about the best I've ever seen. I'll post a link to the file and video for it momentarily. It was probably ported from another phone anyway.

Here's the thread, one of the first zips in the OP, called helix blue,

Here's the video,

I remember seeing that boot animation a few times, the dropbox links are dead.

Take your time, and thank you sir!
The provided Helix Blue boot animation has 391 images; they'll need to be re-sized and enhanced. I might be able to batch automate this process, but in some scenarios it is best to do this manually. Could take some time depending on the approach, I'll look at the batch automation first. Either way, scaling an image from such a low resolution will have obvious results, see some of my other conversions for example; Plasma V1 and Android Update V1 were conversions from low resolution sources, Haters Gonna Hate is probably a better example, as the source files were the same resolution of those provided for Helix Blue; 480x800.
I'll be getting to work on it.

That sounds like a ton of work. I'll try one of your Hi res ones. Please let this be a low priority.

Don't worry about it, just giving you a heads up on what to expect.

My top priority at the moment is getting @MasterZen88 a hand-crafted Bonsai ROM Boot Animation I've been working on for several weeks. About halfway done with that project more or less...

My personal favorite, high-res original content boot animation is VeNuM V3. Black & White, minimalist.

@micmars, I've added Helix Blue V1 to Post #2
Let me know your thoughts, I did my best to optimize the resolution and image quality.

All glory to Hypnotoad bootanimation (Added to Post #2)
Very nice indeed. Love it. Thank you sir.
@Kompster,how do I get my sound back, and some of my system memory back? Does the Aroma installer do a backup in system?

Hrm, the sound should still be there, perhaps it has been turned off via wanam?

I need to recompile all the boot anis to a different format, they're not very well optimized.

If you re-run the aroma installer you should have the option to restore to default.

i may be wrong.. it has been a while since ive looked at that aroma but when you ran it the first time it should have created a bootanimation.bak file, now if u run restore default it "should" put the default one back

The restore option is there.

The only few minor items I've found are:

1. The restore option leaves the zip file in place in the media folder (as opposed to writing it to data or nuking it, which would be a nice option, inasmuch as the boot ani files are big files, and while the system partition is big, 90 megabyte is big),
2. The restore sound leaves a different poweron.ogg file in the startup sound location (weird things in this phone, why multiple poweron files?), and
3. When selecting sound or no sound, the aroma installer thinks you chose the no sound option.

All minor issues, as noted. Thanks for the awesome tools.
