Hey guys, I was just throwing this out here. If you want any custom boot animations you want done, feel free to post your requests. If you want a completely new boot animation just pm me details on what you are looking for. If you like the edited animations just thank me in thread or donate to me. Have a nice day!
( Files are below )

To install a boot animation. You don't have to be rooted and you must have a file explorer of some sort. For me Root Explorer is very helpful.

Rooted:
Then go to system>media>then rename the existing boot animation to something different. This is pretty much backing it up. An example of what to name is bootanimation.zip1. Then go to the boot animation you want then copy and paste it to the system/media folder. Then you reboot and relax. :D

YOU MUST CHANGE PERMISSIONS TO ABOVE NO MATTER WHAT METHOD.

Not Rooted:
Put files in /data/local. Make the file if you must. Do same thing except in previously mentioned file as you would in /system/media

TO ADD SOUND: YOU MUST, MUST, MUST BE ROOTED TO ADD SOUND LIKE THIS!!! STOCK ALREADY HAS IT!
1. Download the "bootsnd.sh" file and put it on the root of your sd card. ( It is the file right below step 3)

2. Download the "android_audio.mp3"(or you can get a .MP3 and rename it) file and using root explorer copy it to /system/media

3. Open Terminal Emulator and type the following commands. Press enter after each line:
su
cd /sdcard
sh bootsnd.sh
reboot

Can you get the WIND Mobile Boot Animation for the EaglesBlood ICS 4.0.4 ROM? Like I'd like to have the WIND Mobile boot animation instead of the EB animation, if possible. please let me know.

Hey buddy, this is very cool, I have a bunch of questions because I see an article here. The best way to promote your thread is having 5 million people read about it this month! I will pm you soon, so please keep an eye on your notifications if you're interested. Thanks buddy and here's the stock O2X bootanimation. http://db.tt/gacdpxKV
One more step to your installation instructions change permissions to look like a backwards 7.

Sorry, but no you don't need to be rooted to use a different animation. Push the bootanimation.zip to /data/local/ the OS will look there first during startup then to the /system/media/ location. This was implemented in 2.2 or 2.3 I can't remember which.
