Are you sure that you are properly converting the audio file to *.ogg format?Well need fiddling around with this for almost a week. Checked around the net and it doesn't seem like anyone knows how its done. There must be a way because the stock boot has a little sound byte it plays.

I believe so. I just googled MP3 player to oog converter and found one online that let you upload an MP3 and it would spit out an oog file.Are you sure that you are properly converting the audio file to *.ogg format?

hmm... just to be clear, the file extension must be *.ogg, not *.oog.... but I'm sure that was just a typo on your part.... I have an audio that worked on another device, I'll try to grab it and test it tonight - if it works, i'll upload it for ya.I believe so. unfortunately, the Poweron.ogg file failed to produce any sound. i placed it in each of the following folders:Cool man thank you =)

keep in mind though, I'm running a custom 4.2.2 ROM (AOKP)
I have not tried this on the stock 4.1.2 yet...
