Well if your like me, I opted for the perseus kernel which does not support custom boot animations but does support overclocking. I just might have to revert kernels and give this a go...
HUH?! What kernel doesnt support custom animations? This goes off of a file of which is renamed to execute in place of the previous file. I dont "think" the kernel controls animations. now i may be wrong. wheres it say that??!

sg3? hm i thought that worked the same way as the note 2. Well your in luck, this will flash everything you need to get a custom ani working, no need to flash any other kernel

Thanks for this, I flashed bios(for faster booting devices) and it works perfectly. Just wish I could edit it to say 1704mhz instead of 1600:rolleyes:

Bump. Don't let this thread die.
lol, its not even close to dead. As long as I own this device (and even then after) I will still be doing this. Just working on school and our team website... (still in progress)

We are moving over to another website (still staying here but will be slower updates) because of how many devices we work with and since there are only 2 of u in the team we are a bit slower.

Always recruiting if anyone's interested. Need testers/boot ani makers/splash screen makers and many more.
