[BOOT/DOWN ANIMATIONS][SPLASHES] HTC One x Evo LTE

This is a boot animation, down animation, and splash screen I made for the Sense 5 ROM. If you take the word "One" and flip it vertically and horizontally it says.... "Evo". (more or less)

I took the HTC One boot animation and remixed it for our device and then made a splash screen and down animation to go with it. Also added inverted ones.

Big thanks to dased14 for fixing my gray screen issue.


Please Read:

The splash screens are universal and will work on any rom because they have nothing to do with the rom.
HOWEVER, the boot and down animations might not change your current boot and down animation depending on which rom youre running. These flashable zips will work for Sense 5. Unfortunately other ROMs have the name of their boot/down animations different. If you flash the boot or down animation and it does not work then youre gonna need to do some digging in system/customize/resource and find the name of the ROMs boot and down animations. If youre too lazy to do all that then send me which rom youre running and ill make a flashable zip for it. Just let me know if you want just one of the two or both.


Instructions:

- Download file
- Flash in recovery
- Boot to see splash and/or boot animation
- Reboot to see down animation and whatever else you flashed again :beer:

Flashed the 3 black ones and none of them worked? I'm running viper, would there rom keep them from working?

Yeah more than likely in vipers default.xml the bootanimation is named differently, so you can look in system/customize/CID/default.xml and scroll till you find mention of bootanimation and see what its named (check location just to be sure) the unzip the zip find bootanimation.zip and change to match whats in vipers default.xml, save rezip and flash away

The splash didnt stick?
Idk... Like dased said the boot and down ani might be different. Im downloading viper again now and ill let you know what to do.
There shouldnt be a problem with the splash with any rom because it has nothing to do with the rom youre running.

Edit:

In system/customize/resource there is:
hTC_bootup
hTC_downanimation
SPC_bootanimation
SPC_downanimation

If you picked the stock boot you are gonna need to extract the boot and down animations and push them to system/customize/resource and rename them to hTC_bootup and hTC_downanimation. If you picked the viper youd rename them to the SPC ones. After you rename them change the permissions to rw-r--r-- and then reboot. Youll be good after that. Im pretty sure you can change the bootani in venom tweaks but not sure about the down ani. But learn to fish and youll eat for life. Venom tweaks is awesome as hell but its never a bad idea to learn the hands on way.

The above goes for any rom that changes the name of the boot/down animation. Do some digging in system/customize/resource and try to figure out the name of the one youre using. These boot/down ani's will work on any rom but some roms have the animations named different.

Edit 3: i seen you say in thicks thread the kernel you were flashing wasnt sticking either. Might be something on your end thats wrong becuase im using the black splash right now just fine and had the white earlier.

Is there any way to flip them so it goes from One to Evo instead of disappearing? I love the rethought font and the new splash.
