Boot loop after unlocking

Hello Guys,

Hope someone can help me or point me in the right direction.
So I got my hands on a OnePlus x and decided to install a nougat ROM on it.
I unlocked the bootloader, flashed Twrp, installed the ROM and Gapps and rebooted the phone.

Now it just shows the one plus logo and nothing else, do I have to update the bootloader to flash a nougat based ROM, or is there something else I have missed?

I guess u are in old bootloader,All Nougat roms are fr new bootloader,So you should update ur bootloader... Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/general/guide-update-bootloader-firmware-to-t3478917 or

Hey buddy,
just letting you know the outcome, so the first post ended up bricking my phone, had to reflash the stock recovery and the sideload a Rom to get the phone booting again, tried a few times (Gotta love a trier) but same outcome.

Second post worked like a charm, so its all god and the phone is now on Nougat.
