I don't pal sorry.. If you look at my conversation with ruudbwoi earlier in thread I just used one of his and changed the logo.jpg for one of my own then re-zipped the 2 files with 7zip and flashed through recovery

Thanks, I think you can use 7-zip to tar it, but change its format to bin.

If you semi brick your phone you take the original param.bin and rename that to .tar and flash through odin

You don't even have to rename it, just flashing with cp works. I tried @-Mr. X- 's way to do it with terminal emulator and no success.

Hi guys,
can someone make me a flashable boot splash zip using the pic below.
I have tried several times using the pic @1440 x 2560 and 1422 x 2528.
have also reduced the quality to bring the size down from 1.2mg to 463kb.
After I flash my zip the old logo shows on screen and phone boots normal then when rebooting into recovery the splash logo
shows as a white/dotty screen. phone still boots and works fine.
flashing the stock & other splash zips work fine.
Is it just my pic? I am obviously doing something wrong.

For me is the same problem and i dont know what to do. Have anybody a solution. I want to build also some splash logos. I take also same resolution. Saved as jpg and 96bit but didnt work.

Yes it from your process in saving your jpg.

I found this sometime.

Please try to copy your jpg in your fone then use photo editor in gallery to adjust alil bit may be brightness. Then save and use that saved jpg to be splash. It worked for me when i recieved the not worked picture by request.

I find a other tool to push the splash logo on phone. Its from arter97 and called galaxy_s6_logochanger_dogde.zip
In this tool you push only the logo.ipg and run the zip and works. I think the Problem is how to push the logo.ipg in param.bin
With 7zip it doesnt work

7zip does work i use 7zip all my bootlogos are fro using 7zip u jus dont know how to use it

I am really cofjused now. I didnt know why it didnt work for me. I didnt unpack the param.bin
I only open and push it in the bin file.

Ok for all i find a way

Unpack param.bin with 7zip in a folder. Push new jpg file in folder. Pack it to a tar file. After that rename to param.bin and work for me
