Use term emu on device and su copy to /local/data
I confirm this works to setup this bootani. XDA app stores to 'tapatalkdownload' on sdcard. Still workin on boot sound. Does stock rom have a boot sound? And can someone locate what folder it is in?

To OP; props on the best bootani I've seen! Can we get one for Flippy's 1.8Ghz kernel next?

Yep, #0 opens in VLC and is about 1 second long, the other #1 does nothing

all i did was rename them to .wav

First try with Audio, renamed the .mp3 from this post to bootanim0.raw and stuck it back into the framework apk.

result: nothing.

when i get time i'll try to convert mp3 back to wav and do the same

in case that wasnt clear.

I fixed it. I've replaced the attachment.

I like it but... on part1, youre missing several images causing a blank bootup at the end of the bios animation. you might wanna add some more in part1 to remedy that.

I know the OP said he fixed this - but I'm still running into this issue on my G2.

I'm running the stock rom with pershoot's kernel - obviously rooted. Don't know if you need that info.

Love this animation but I wish that the animation lasted up until the boot finishes! Black screen is a little unsettling - makes me worry something is wrong! Awesome work though OP.

Anybody? Tried messing around with the desc.txt file, kept getting black screen during the animation.

I've tested all of them. No blank screen here. What version, ROM, device, and where are you putting the file?
