I've tested all of them. No blank screen here. What version, ROM, device, and where are you putting the file?
Sorry to put you through testing!

I've got bios_cm6_1.5hhz_2.2.zip - running the stock G2 rom post OTA, running pershoot's latest kernel (don't know if that is relevant), and the file is in /data/local/. I've also tried it in /system/media. It worked in both locations - the issue is that I keep running into that black screen about 7 seconds after the android logo shows up.

EDIT:

Finally got it working. I figured out how to properly work with the desc.txt file and folders. Thanks for trying to help!

No Problem.

Could you post your procedure in case someone else comes across this problem?
I might even put it on the OP for others to use as reference.

Okay. Custom Boot Sound now added. Sound was posted from previous post.
Just following instructions as usual. I had to take out CM6 800 Mhz from attachments to add sound attachment.

Enjoy denizens! :D

I updated the boot sound enable zip that you've never credited me for so you dont have to run commands any more. Check it out in the original thread.

is my computer trippin or are the 800, 1.4, 1.5, 1.8 all bundled with a duplicate of the 800 version inside part1?

::edit:: All the cm7 versions seem that way.

Sorry about that! Fixed. :D

May I perhaps request a Sense 2.3.3 DZ @ 800MHz (of course :p) please?
Well, I did request it.
Could you?

Cheers.
I'll try and work one in, but OP only lets me have 8 attachments.....didn't reserve second post. Wasn't expecting all the requests.

Thank you for your hard work. But had to manually place the files. Extracted everything from enablebootsound.zip and place the files with root explorer into my /system/bin folder. Then went into terminal emulator to enablebootsound. Worked like a charm.

Using Call Of Android boot animation and sound. Sound is alittle longer than boot but no biggie still cool.

Phone: T-Mobile G2/Vision Rooted/GFree'd
Rom: Latest Cyanogen
Recovery: CWM
Radio: 26.08.04.30
