[BOOTANIMATION] Google Gears boot animation for Nexus S OEM Unlock

Hi all.

I was looking for a boot animation matching the splash screen of my Nexus S OEM unlocked (with the little open lock on the bottom).
After a lot of googling (finding nothing) I decided to make it by myself...
Basically the idea was to start with the same image of the OEM splash and fade into a google-gears animation... and here it is.

The animation is [email protected] and is much smoother than this gif...

Here is the bootanimation.zip file and here is the flashable one (requires busybox).

There is a boot animation just like this one. The gears are all white though, less detailed.

Yea, there is... and I tried it out... here is the thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399016

The difference is that this one doesn't match our splash screen. That's why I made it...

very nice, but on my NS transition to the bootanimation is not smooth. I get just a flash from the google unlocked bootloader image, half a second of black screen then the bootanim.

Anyway I like it very much.

Yea... I know. The splash is shown while the kernel is loading, then the ROM starts and the boot animation as well... me too get a little flicker... it really depends on your system speed...

maybe I will insert a little delay before the fading (half a sec), just to start with a more stable image of our splash screen...
