Is this still in dev? Im running windows 7 and when trying to run the Boot program nothing happens.. I right click and set as admin but it sits there. It worked before I had to re-wipe pc for issues. But its a clean install so not sure why its not even able to run.. thx in adv.

EDIT: <--- n00b after wiping PC I forgot to add java lol. drrr.. It starts fine now.. thx again

This is a easy tool for installing, and previewing Bootanimations

REQUIREMENTS
Windows OS (For vista/7 run as admin)
Java
Phone Rooted
Phone drivers
USB Debugging ON
Human or similar

HOW-TO
Turn On USB Debugging (Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging)
Copy your bootanimation.zip** (All you want) to /bootanimations folder (Software will make it first run)
**You dont need to rename to bootanimation.zip, software will do it

FEATURES
Backups current bootanimation (both, system and data bootanimation)
Push new bootanimation
Show Preview of Current Bootanimation (Close preview windows for stop)

thanks for this useful piece of software.
I was wondering if you will adapt it to support also the galaxy nexus? at the moment showing preview of a GN boot animation doesnt work.. havent tried flashing one though..

It was able to push before, but now it's able to PREVIEW. However I'd like you to test it and comment if it worked. Soon ill add also an option for saving bootanimation preview as a .gif, and much more ingenious ideas.

Is there any way to build a bootanimation.zip with the png in sequence by any chance. the png's are ripped from a gif file.

That is an interesting feature to add, building bootanimations from png sequence... be ready for that soon!

Be sure you have lib folder inside same folder of .exe and .jar, otherwise you will get this kind of issue. This software was programmed on win7x64, so that's not the problem.

I redownloaded the program (and turned anti-virus off, because it doesn't like something in the folder), only unzipped it and started the .exe, still doesn't work. And with the .jar, I can preview the bootanimations but only get errors, too.
