Welcome to my McLaren boot animation thread for the Oneplus 7t & 7t pro!:D
There is one for the Oneplus 7 and 7 pro aswell, you can check it out Here

Must have Magisk Installed.

Installation:

Flash .zip via Magisk v17.0+ (Open Magisk>Select Modules from the Side Panel> Press the + button>choose the zip that you downloaded)
If you want to return to stock boot animation, disable/ remove module via magisk and reboot:good:

Downloads:
Oneplus 7t:

Oneplus 7t pro: Link

Troubleshoot::confused:
- If you do not see the bootanimation or you see the stock boot animation, check if you have any other magisk bootanimations actiavated?
If you do, disable them all, reboot, and reflash.
- If that does not work work::rolleyes: Last resort, you can move the bootanimation.zip (located in the magisk module zip: system/media folder) manually to /system/media on your phone and set permissions to rw-r-r
If you end up using this method, remember to back up stock bootanimation by adding a .bak at the end of the file name.

**** Absolutely beautiful!!! Would look even better if initial screen warning ( g.co/ABH) could be hidden or deleted. Any ideas or is it not possible? Thanks in advance, Dave

Not sure if it's resolution dependant, but I know the module template needed to be updated. It was very old. The attached module is what I've done.
Was this just for the 6t that you responded to? Or is it like it's file name and for the oneplus 7tproNR?

Nevermind, I tried it on my phone, totally works!

(HD1925) OnePlus 7tproNR with LineageOS 17.1 & magisk 22.0

Thank you

The module didn't work for me nd the second method also ... Everytime i copy my animation nd change the try to change permissions it says operation requires remount fs as rw ... Any solution?

I can't find a system\media folder on Android 12.
Can someone tell me about doing this on Android 12?

EDIT: Found in system/bin/bootanimation
I found an executable. There may be more to changing this than back in the day, and there may be more associated files--idunno.

So I'm on A12 now. I found mine animations outside of system in my_product/media/bootanimation
What executable did you find, I'm having difficulty replacing mine.

Really don't understand how this module could have worked for anyone. Because apparently only Magisk 20.1 and earlier works with it, but I have never been able to get Magisk 20.1 working on my Oneplus 7t pro, only 20.2 and later. Would really love an update to this to be supported on Magisk 20.3. Because it really does look sick!
    Want it on magisk 20.3??
Just install the module and reboot,
Extract the module in your internal and copy system, config.sh, module.prop and readme.md
    then go to
Root/data/adb/maclaren? (Paste them here) make sure they have rwrr permission in my case it was already like that.
Just reboot and enjoy your new bootanimation :good:

Any way to make it work on oneplus 6t, OxygenOS 10.3.8? Magisk 20.4

This works perfectly for the OnePlus Nord N200 5G as well!
    T-Mobile build 11.0.1.12.DE18CB
