Disregard the colors in the preview. They are off, the actual bootanimation has correct coloration!

CarbonRom Animation Preview
Disregard the animation playing out of order. The application I used to make the gif screwed up. The actual bootanimation is correct!

Love the concept. Can't believe it took Google this long. If you can get the "fixed" one working smooth it'll be awesome. I'd love to see you do the Omni boot animation.

anyone care explaining the difference between flashable & non-flashable zips?
from what i understand, flashable zips are flashed/installed from recovery screen. so would this imply non-flashable zips are installed manually, by going into the device's file manager and manually pasting the file in the appropriate location with the relevant filename.zip?
is this right?

Thanks for the support! I'm honestly clueless why the "fixed" version is laggy so heavily D: If I have time later today I'll try to add it to the omni boot animation.

EDIT: I updated the OP with a dl link to the omnirom animation. Enjoy!

Can I modify the boot animation to fit 720x1280 and share it for others? I have a Motorola Atrix Hd and this would look great on it. I'll give credit where it's due.

But WHY THE RUM??!!!

If you could add "powered by android" to the Nexus animation it would be AMAZING.

Yeah, I don't mind if you do. Just please link this thread if you post it on XDA.

This is a link to some bootanimations that are really great:

I use the Google_Nexus and it looks great, but it will look better with the "Powered by Android" Just in case you like them and want to give it a try. Thanks.

I can add it to the Nexus one bootanimation. I'll probably have time this weekend to do it. Would you two be able to test it for me? I also plan on making a utility to automatically add the "powered by Android" to the bottom of almost any bootanimation.

Looks perfect. It doesn't loop smoothly though. There's a quick flash in between.

I just noticed that. I got some advice from dankoman about it. I need to go in and reduce the dpi and colors to not make it stutter or skip. I'll probably get around to doing it tomorrow. Don't have any time today D:
