These are not flashable zips. You must install using a file manager app with root access such as ES File Explorer. To install just copy to your system/media folder, rename to bootanimation.zip, change permissions to rw-r-r, and reboot.
Or you can use the app from the play store called Boot Animation to easily install it. Thanks to soccerfan6789 for these instructions:

Alright I already said this is the previous threads but I'll say it again because this obviously has a lot more viewers. So instead of using the OP instructions, just download Boot Animation from the Play Store, launch it, go to local, find the path where you downloaded the file, and then install. This is what I've found to be a lot easier then the other method.
