I'm still searching for a new rom to build.
I currently have a working Derpfest vanilla (no gapps) on my j5nlte and j5xnlte, but I am not absolutely happy with it.
I will test Bliss as next.
Havoc is okay, but I prefer Derpfest over it.
I also tested Corvus and Aosip.
Descendant sounds interesting, but trees are private, so I can not test it.
AICP also sounds interesting, so I might look into it also.


If you have other ideas please feel free to suggest them here.

i'd probably go for like EvolutionX or HavocOS.
I also know that Bliss has pretty good performance.
But, i have no other idea on what ROM you should go for.

I would go for Descendant or Havoc.
Descendant is really different and beautiful.. Maybe u can try to talk with its Developer - Dil3mm4 ?
If not Havoc in my opinion is good replacemant for Bootleg. It has all needed features + some extra.
But it's up to u. :good:

Internal call recorder should work in most countries.
Besides this there is a call-recorder app on f-droid (for sure also some in playstore, but I trust apps on f-droid more).
Edit: the call-recorder I meant is also available as Magisk Module.

One request/suggestion it would be great if u could give access to ur unofficial builds of different roms in this way lot of people can get there favourite roms and they can certainly use it as much as they like ofc without any future update or support

PA or Du would be fine too.

I think one perfect rom is better than many normal rom
However jens do it for free and doesn't have time to do all these things
However it's fun but i prefer you to learn build roms to have sth like that

As jens said he will build bliss
So if you wanna use other you should edit update script and a kernel(for j53gxx) to got it work on your model
Maybe if he find free time build it for other models too

Bliss seems to be awesome. :good: Im thinking now that u should go for Bliss, of course, if u still want to.
Btw Thanks for uploading test builds. Oh, and i almost forgot to tell u that.. it's not possible to download Havoc test build from ur server cuz 403 Forbidden.
