Bootloader unlock

Hi,

can i normally unlock bootloader/relock later if i'm s-off and customized my hboot?

Or should i do some steps before it?

since you are on S-OFF there is no point to unlock the bootloader
you can flash the 3.33 firmware from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1459767
it will give you also a patched hboot which is unlocked
follow the instructions to the letter
and before flashing check md5 sums(important)

BUT

if you ever decided to return to S-ON first you have to flash a ruu.exe to return to stock
then make sure that you will have the official hboot
if you have the official then return to S-ON

Thanks for reply!

I was thinking about unlocking BL because i don't have warranty already (old device :), but i think this

"since you are on S-OFF there is no point to unlock the bootloader" is all i needed to know :)

I am soff but not rooted.. What do I need to do now to flash a custom rom? And I do not have a custom recovery. I had a custom recovery but it I went back to stock in lost it.

okay here's my dilemma I have S off I now have a custom recovery but everytime i flash a rom it will not boot up right. I go back and do the advance wipes and Fix permissions but still cannot get a custom ROM to load. I was able to back it up and restore it.What am I doing wrong??

also did you try to flash the boot.img via fastboot command?

I have a S3 and I've flashed 100's of roms never saw anything like this....THESE HTC'S ARE HARD!!!!!:confused::confused:

if you flash 3.33 the rom will boot
