Hello,

i actually tried to install this ROM.
As written there, i should install the new Firmware via Hboot, this worked. Then i installed the ROM via CWM 5.0.2.0. But now i got a bootloop (HTC Logo -> Virtous Logo -> and HTC Logo again -> ...).

I am not able to install any older PG58IMG.zip anymore (Hboot says that this model is not supported).

I tried a backup (made via CWM twenty minutes ago) but this also ends in a bootloop...

And know i dont know what to do anymore :(

Hope you guys can help me?

Kind regards

I've not known it to happen myself, but i'm sure someone mentioned once that it happened to them.

Put your phone into Bootloader, select Fastboot, connect your phone to your computer so it reads Fastboot USB, load a command prompt and cd to the directory where you have adb etc.

When there, type in,

Fastboot getvar cid

It should read cid - 11111111 anything other than that and you're phones not supercid.

If it doesn't read 11111111 then type

Fastboot oem writecid 11111111

Then check with the other command again to make sure it's wrote properly.

Hmm... I am VERY sure i made Super CID a while ago (i remember because of the many 111's ;) ). But it was not, but now it is.

I installed the ROM and now it works!

Thanks very very much!!

I had this exact same problem after trying to instal one of the newer ICS that require the new firmware. I had an earlier version of ICS and you didn't need a firmware to run it so I though I must have done it already.

Tried the Terminal emulator version of super CID and it showed it was still active when I tried to use the wrong sim card ( didn't ask for the unlock code and actually knew it was an ATT sim ). Did the 1111111 trick in ADB and now it will take a PG58IMG and the new ICS rom.

Thanks for the hints.

Same Problem

Hey Guys,

I'm pretty new at flashing ROMs on phones. I've flashed the new ICS firmware and ROM, but I'm stuck on bootloop. Im sure that I have super CID because I performed it right before flashing the firmware.

Any hints and tips on what to do?
