Today i updated my Motorola Moto x 2014 to the newest version of Lineageos (14.1-20180610). After the update my phone went into a bootloop. I left it on and after an hour and a half it is still in the loop. The phone is still warm so i think it is still doing something. I waited for about 10 minutes and it was still loading. After that i forced a shutdown on my phone and went to recovery to wipe the darik and cache. After this my phone still didn't boot. I updated the phone serveral times and this keeps happening! So i can start from scratch and i have to recover my 2FA codes manually. I get really ennoyed of this. I went for Lineageos because Motorola doesn't update this device anymore, but Lineageos still brings out updates
. But the os is frankly worthless if it keeps crashing and i can start from scratch. Don't get me wrong i love Lineageos and i appreciate the hard efford that people put into the project but i can't work like this. So my question is Can anyone answer the question why the update process doesn't work?
